Random words and image association

Random words are easy, simple but yet a very effective creative technique. This is also a great way to generate new ideas. Random words works by helping people to think and genarate for ideas. Random words pushes people out of their current thinking rut and make people think in new ways and create different, unique ideas.

In our daily life, we are always motivated by something, but sometimes we need chances to help us achieve our desire and we need to always grab hold of chances, but in order to do that, we need a little knowledge to know when the chance is presented in front of us or else we could can let it slip by that easily.

In random words and image association, there will always be a catalyst, and that catalyst is like a chance, it will help us get to where we want to be, but that catalyst is also not necessarily important when in our desire target.

• Use it to stimulate open and divergent thinking and seek creative new ideas.
• Use it to re-ignite creative thinking when you are running out of ideas.

Exercise:
We were asked to create a scary image or object with association of an image of a cute kitten. We then need to explained what and why is it scary to us.

Kitten= furry, whiskers, tail, eyes, paw, sharp teeth

Paws= paws have sharp claw in them, claw are painful when scratched on and that can create fear.

So I've created......

A sharp claw ball!!
When people look at it they won't even dare to touch it cause of it's sharp claws popping out.
